This project utilizes an emergent building type -- the Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) -- as a link between a cultural heritage building and new forces in zoning, which introduces a novel innovative design process at Råå in Sweden. (Research Paper by Per-Johan Dahl) The form is extracted from the context through the basis of points and lines within the constraint to create the surface and space. A transition from the existing living room to the new living area is not just the narrow approach, they reflect on the cultural heritage of the place, and quality of dynamic space, responding to the sculpted form of the black facade with the contrast of pure white interior wall where lead you to living zone. The L-shape transitional space switches the visual axis perpendicular to the living space. Tar paper, unobtrusively, the undertone black material as the finish layer merge with the historical environment.
